Viktor Mikhaylovich Vasnetsov (1848-1926)

Viktor Mikhaylovich Vasnetsov (1848-1926) was associated with the revivalist movement in Russian art although his Symbolist leanings are also evident. Like many Russian artists of the period he was fascinated by fairy tales and folklore.
